A blend of typical Douro grapes: Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca, vinified cold in stainless steel with ten months in French oak. Ruby in colour, with aromas of flowers, ripe red fruits and a touch of spice. A medium to full-bodied wine, rounded by bottle age into a very drinkable red with vibrant fruit (plums and black cherries) and a long finish with spicy, peppery notes and stony minerality. Great depth of flavour and very food friendly. Food pairing: Mediterranean cuisine, beef dishes, tapas.
